Sweer Co. constantly review the way of accident prevention
program and to reduce and eliminate the risk of injuries
oraccidents, because we realize our work can be dangerous.
In our frequent safety training employees are encouraged to
find ways to reduce risks in every task, and to speak up if
they see risky conditions or behavior. We know our emphasis
on safety is effective.
Sweer Co. safety program took the following through the
planning and construction phase of our works.
· Defines formal responsibility for accident prevention.
Responsibility flows through the organization along
functional lines.
· Accident prevention provisions including safety
orientation. Educational and training for supervisors and
employees.
·A description of the program's organization and assignment
of safety responsibilities for all personnel. Including
managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
·Guidelines for pre-job planning including a copy of all
pertinent regulations.
· Requirements and checklists for conducting daily job site
safety inspections.
· Specific safety rules for supervisors and craftsmen.
· Specific policy requiring that each newly hired employee
receives orientation in the Company's Accident Prevention
Program, and signs off on our Company Safety Video &
Manuals.
· Emergency procedures, including the requirement that each
superintendent hold current first-aid certification.
· Policy requiring the holding of daily / weekly jobsite /
tailgate safety meetings.
· Recognition for significant improvement or continued
success in safety performance.
